I’ve noticed two strong themes are developing in this blog which I feel could do with some streaming now. The first encompasses various notes and thoughts about Irish trees – that is trees of note in Ireland and trees native to Ireland, in particularly the trees featured in the Tree lists of the the 8^th century Bretha Comaithchesa, (usually translated as the Laws of the Neighbourhood)

The second results in a relatively recent fascination with all things mushroom, where again I write some notes particular to me but also give general information that might be useful for other fungi enthusiasts based in Ireland.
